New Beginnings 2024
Moving into the new year, I thought about what to share with you for this post. “New Beginnings” came to mind. A new year brings a fresh start, new possibilities, and new growth. For example, in this new year of 2024, perhaps some have a desire to grow in their relationship with God as their ABBA Father. God is our ABBA Father who loves us. A paraphrase according to Jude 1:20 and Hebrews 12:2, “I build myself up in my most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keeping myself in the love of God, and I look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith.”
I want to encourage all my readers and wish them Happy New Beginnings. May this New Year of 2024 be a year of new beginnings, a new chapter that brings you laughter and joy, abounding in love, and to discover the incredible unique person that resides within each of you, being strengthened in faith.
New beginnings also means closing a door and opening a new door. This happens in our walks. This might be our spiritual walk, our daily walk at home, or it might be our walk in our job or school. Our walk might look like baby steps but it moves us forward.
To Ponder: Most babies take their first steps by the time they are about 18 months old. However, before they can walk, they develop coordination, muscle strength, and effort. They learn to roll over, sit, crawl, pull themselves up on furniture, and then standing up. At first a baby may take steps with the help of a parent or a caregiver by gripping their hands. Eventually they will walk on their own, leaving the babyhood behind.
To close this post, I want to give thanks to my publisher KW, for posting this (see link): New Beginnings: Grant’s First Day of School .
Happy new beginnings and best wishes for 2024!
